Our next stop… Nanaimo!

June 27, 2012

Due to popular demand, the BC Generations Project will be returning to Vancouver Island this summer to recruit participants to BC’s largest-ever cancer prevention study.

Beginning July 23, residents are invited to join the Project by booking an appointment at our new pop-up assessment centre in Nanaimo.

“We got a great response when we were in Victoria last fall, but we also heard a lot of requests to open a centre further north,” explains Dr. John Spinelli, principal investigator of the BC Generations Project. “Thanks to funding from the BC Cancer Foundation, we’re now able to do that. With this assessment centre, we hope to attract more participants from central and northern Vancouver Island, and the surrounding Gulf Islands.”

The temporary assessment centre will be located at Nanaimo North Town Centre, 4750 Rutherford Road. To book an appointment, sign up online at registration form or call toll-free 1-877-675-8221.
